Senior LSS Case Officer
Are you curious about making a real difference in the daily lives of people with disabilities while working systematically with legislation and coaching other LSS case officers? Then you might be the one we are looking for!
Who are we?
The authority exercise is part of the municipality's social services, responsible for LSS and SoL interventions that create security, participation, and good quality of life. We have a dedicated team of social workers, case officers, and other professionals who together support residents with various needs.
Our workplace is centrally located in the municipality with good communication and close to both services and green areas. We are a politically governed organization that works with a holistic view, quality, and coordination – always with the individual in focus.
With us, you will have a daily routine that includes structure, development, and a lot of collaboration. We have clear working methods and quality-assured processes, as well as an inclusive culture where diversity, respect, and responsiveness are self-evident parts.
Your responsibilities
As a senior LSS case officer, you are both a specialist and a team player. You have special responsibility for coordinating and developing case management together with your colleagues.
Your role includes quality assurance of decision-making materials and providing support in complex cases. You introduce, guide, and support colleagues in methodology and legal application. Furthermore, you participate in and sometimes lead development work, routine work, and improvement projects. In your work, you collaborate with other units and external actors.
The work primarily takes place during the day and on-site, with some opportunities for remote work. Here you will have a role with significant responsibility where you can influence how we can become even better.
Who are you?
You have a degree in social work, a bachelor's degree in behavioral science, social pedagogy, or another equivalent higher education of at least 180 credits. You have several years of relevant experience in LSS case management or similar authority exercise. Previous experience in leadership is an advantage.
You have very good knowledge of the LSS and social services laws as well as administrative law and a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.
As a person, you are structured, meticulous, and confident in your profession. You make well-founded decisions based on available information and various courses of action and convey oral communication clearly and confidently. You are attentive, unpretentious, and used to collaborating across professions.
Furthermore, you are solution-focused, development-oriented, and enjoy taking initiative and responsibility. You are good at discovering and developing others and enjoy coaching and providing positive support.
You have a flexible approach and easily adapt to new situations and changing circumstances.
Welcome with your application!
