Your Tasks

The positions we are recruiting for are as assistance assessors with a focus on Social Psychiatry in the Adult Department of the Social Administration.

With us, you will become part of an engaged, development-oriented, and supportive workgroup consisting of assistance assessors, senior social workers, and unit managers. Currently, we have two teams in the group. The teams meet daily to support each other and prioritize the team's tasks for the day.

The positions we are recruiting for are part of the team that primarily works with follow-up of time-limited decisions such as housing support and ongoing decisions for services such as special housing. The team primarily works with adults in need of psychosocial support due to psychiatric issues, and in our new assignment, we will also handle applications for individuals who belong to the target group according to LSS and who only apply for psychosocial support according to the Social Services Act. These cases were previously handled by another unit but have now been transferred to us, which is why we are now recruiting new employees for our group. The workgroup also handles applications for assistance in cases of acute homelessness.

The group's tasks include processing cases according to the Social Services Act, which involves investigating applications, following up on services, and documentation work. The work also includes motivational work (MI) as well as providing information and advice to clients and partners. Important elements include collaboration internally within the administration and externally with other relevant actors such as service providers and healthcare.

With us, you will meet adults in vulnerable situations, where one day is not like the other. It is a challenging, fun, and important job where you get the chance to contribute and develop the future of social services together with our group!

Within the unit and department, there are also groups that work with authority exercise in areas such as addiction, crime, LSS, and housing issues, which is a significant asset in cases that require cross-professional collaboration. The department also includes several operations that work with the execution of various support measures that have been granted. The working hours are currently scheduled on weekdays from 07:50 to 17:00, and we have flexible working hours agreements.
