About Viljan Active Care - HVB Sandgatan

Active HVB Sandgatan is a residential care facility located in Linköping, accommodating youth aged 16-20 for individual treatment in our apartment concept. We actively and purposefully work to create a safe, trusting, and meaningful environment for our youth.

About the role of treatment pedagogue

With us, you will work in a team with various professionals who collectively lead the treatment processes of the youth forward. We engage in everything concerning our youth. The work involves meeting people in crisis and/or with difficult life situations, and it is crucial that you can see opportunities, convey hope, and meet people in a respectful and safe manner. Together with the youth, you create a functioning and secure everyday life, where you train together based on a milieu therapeutic approach.

Qualifications

You are inspiring and relationship-building, with a good ability to establish contact with people in vulnerable situations. You are calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive manner, enjoying working with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see the individual's needs.

We place great importance on personal suitability.

Requirements:

  • Graduated social worker, behavioral scientist, or social and cultural analyst, alternatively graduated social pedagogue with a minimum of 400 YH credits.

  • Previous experience working with children and youth, preferably in a residential care facility.

  • Driving license B.

    Meritorious:

  • Experience in case management at an authority.

  • Basic psychotherapy training, step 1.

  • Further education in MI, ÅP, TMO, and similar.

Role: Treatment Pedagogue

Employment type: Permanent with probationary period

Working hours: Full-time

Working time: Irregular

Start date: By agreement
