About the Assignment:

We are now looking for a female personal assistant for a lovely young woman, 33 years old, living in Linköping (near Skvadronen). She lives with Huntington's disease and needs support in her daily life but is also looking for someone to share her day with. She would like an assistant of a similar age with whom she can feel comfortable and relaxed. Your task will be to be there as a social and safe support, someone to have coffee with, go for walks, or plan small outings together.

Job Responsibilities:

Personal hygiene, cooking, dressing and undressing, cleaning, accompanying during shopping, walks, medical visits, and outings. Since I forget some things, you will also need to support me in remembering things, e.g., during medical visits and shopping lists, etc.

NOTE!

From midsummer until August, she travels to her lovely summer house near Motala. Therefore, we are looking for an assistant who can also be with her during this time. (If you are employed by us and start from Linköping, God Assistans will pay mileage while the customer is in another location, i.e., Motala).

Schedule in Motala:

Every other day from 9 AM to 6 PM (e.g., Mon, Wed, Sat, etc.).

Schedule in Linköping:

1 PM to 4 PM and/or 8 PM to 10 PM (shifts are booked in consultation with you), NOTE! Free parking is available.

This position can be excellently combined with studies or other work - and we would like you to be flexible, responsible, and have a good sense of humor.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a woman
• Is of a similar age to the customer
• Has a driver's license (preferable but not a requirement)
• Has a genuine interest in people
• Wants to be part of a warm and supportive team
• As she is very sensitive to infections, she prefers that the assistant does not have small children.

Previous experience as a personal assistant or in care and nursing work is an advantage but not a requirement - personal chemistry and the willingness to make a difference weigh the most. Warm welcome to us!
