Social Pedagogue or Treatment Pedagogue to Stjärnbacken HVB.

We are looking for an engaged and experienced social pedagogue or treatment pedagogue who wants to contribute to creating a safe future for children with norm-breaking behavior.

About the workplace

Stjärnbacken is a small and family-oriented treatment home with five residential places and one transition place. We accept both boys and girls aged 10–16 years according to LVU and SoL, from all over Sweden.

We offer a safe and predictable environment where children receive support to develop and find new ways forward. Our work is based on methods such as MI (Motivational Interviewing), ART (Aggression Replacement Training), low-arousal approach, and an environmental therapeutic approach. We actively use nature in our work and encourage children to participate in activities outside the home.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has relevant education as a social pedagogue or treatment pedagogue
• Has experience working with children and adolescents with norm-breaking behavior
• Is secure, attentive, and has good collaboration skills
• Enjoys working in a small organization where you are an important part of the whole
• Can present a valid extract from the criminal record in connection with employment

Employment form:

• The position is a longer-term substitute with the possibility of becoming a permanent position.
