Now there is this chance for you to be part of shaping this new position as it is a key role that we have identified a need for and are now creating in Söderköping Municipality. The role will include new collaborations as well as new working methods. You will work independently but will collaborate with various professions and parties in your daily work.

Job Description

You will have close cooperation with the coordinator and unit manager for daily activities and be the coordinator's extended arm in the work with workplace-based daily activities. This means that you, together with the coordinator and employees in daily activities, will work to establish new collaborations with companies in Söderköping, but also work to maintain and develop existing collaborations.

You will work together with users and provide pedagogical support and guidance to users who need extra support before and in the existing work situation at the company. This also means providing support and guidance to the companies we collaborate with. Close cooperation with the Employment Service and the Social Insurance Agency is also part of the work in this position. In addition to this, you are expected to:

• Ensure that interventions are carried out in accordance with LSS intentions regarding participation and self-determination
• Implement and follow up pedagogical methods
• Contribute to structures and routines regarding matching, follow-up, and collaboration with companies
• Be a methodological support to staff groups both at the companies and internally in our own operations
• Initiate improvement work based on follow-up and results

Qualifications

Söderköping is now looking for someone who is social, proactive, and driven to create new contacts. You have good communication skills and see opportunities and solutions in dialogue with companies to find the right match between users and workplaces. You work in a structured manner and have a genuine commitment to supporting people in their development towards work. We are looking for someone who has the ability to work independently but is also a good partner for users, colleagues, and companies.

As this position involves collaborations between different companies and daily activities, we wish that you have experience in this area as well as knowledge of marketing/selling ideas and services to companies.

You have relevant education in the field, such as occupational therapist, educator, behavioral scientist, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. Previous experience working with the LSS target group is a requirement. Knowledge of alternative communication (AAC) and clarifying pedagogy is an advantage.

You have a good ability to work with improvement and quality work. We see it as valuable that you work in a structured manner to lead and follow up, can handle demands and setbacks, and have a service-oriented attitude and enjoy collaborating with people. You take great responsibility for staffing the operations based on the needs of the operations and given budget frameworks. For you, it is natural to lead the operations with a focus on quality and treatment with the individual's needs at the center.

It is important that you have a positive attitude towards your work and enjoy working with people. The work requires great commitment, initiative, and responsibility. We also value clarity and relationship-building ability. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

You must have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

A driver's license (B) is a requirement.
