Who are we?

Ektorpsskolan is a school for everyone. We promote an inclusive approach based on the equal value, rights, and opportunities of all individuals to be part of a community where they can feel fully involved. Approximately 280 students attend regular school and about 50 students attend special needs school here, starting in the autumn of 2026.

At Ektorpsskolan, about 85 employees work in a team organization with clear assignments. We aim to create a safe learning environment where the joy of learning is in focus, and where young people and adults meet each other with respect.

Our vision at Ektorpsskolan is: With joy and happiness, we grow!

Your responsibilities

As a curator at Ektorpsskolan, you are an important part of the health promotion, preventive, and remedial work of student health. Your expertise in social work means that you can analyze, understand, and work with social processes at the individual, group, and organizational levels from a holistic perspective.

You will identify needs early to investigate and suggest relevant support that contributes to good and safe growth environments in the school. You will work together with staff and students in value-based work, with a particular focus on the school's quality, norms, and values.

Your tasks as a curator include, among other things, conversations with children, adolescents, and guardians, both individually and in groups. You will work to promote equal treatment and prevent discrimination, harassment, and abusive treatment. Furthermore, you will support other staff in student health issues and provide consultation and supervision. You will also work with social mapping during investigations.

You will be part of the school's student health team and lead the safety team's work. You will also collaborate with external actors such as the social services, police, child and adolescent psychiatry, youth centers, and more.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work, a bachelor's degree in behavioral science, social pedagogy, or equivalent. Previous work experience in schools or social services is an advantage.

You have good knowledge of legislation regulating school activities and confidentiality. You can actively work with preventive measures and understand their significance for the organization.

As a person, you are both independent and able to collaborate well with others. You are meticulous, build trust, show consideration, and are attentive to the feelings of others while caring for students' privacy.

Additionally, you are flexible and can easily adapt to new situations and working methods.

You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Welcome with your application!
