We are now looking for a social worker for a combined position as a social secretary for children and youth and a foster care secretary.

About the Role

The position is divided so that 60% of the work concerns social secretary for children and youth and 40% foster care secretary. As a social secretary for children and youth, you will be responsible for authority exercise aimed at children and youth aged 0-21 years. You will be responsible for investigations, assessments, and follow-ups of interventions aimed at children, youth, and their guardians.

In your role as a foster care secretary, you will primarily focus on the investigation and follow-up of contact persons, contact families, and foster homes according to SoL and LSS. Your tasks include recruiting, investigating, guiding, and training foster homes. As a foster care secretary, you will have close cooperation with other social secretaries in the unit. As a foster care secretary in Boxholm municipality, you will gain a good overall picture of the families you work with. Documentation and collaboration with other authorities and organizations are an important part of the job.

Qualifications

To be considered for the position, you must have a degree in social work. It is an advantage if you have experience working with authority exercise within children and youth. Since documentation is a central part of the job, you need to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. A driver's license (B) is required as travel is part of the job.

We are looking for someone who has a professional demeanor and is good at collaborating with others while also having the ability to work independently and drive their own processes. You should also be flexible and easily adapt to changing circumstances that arise in everyday life.
