About the Job

As a personal assistant, you are expected to have an empathetic ability, be attentive, and have a good understanding of what good service means for the client.

We are now looking for a playful assistant who can juggle many tasks while still providing full supervision and enjoys being outdoors in all weather. The client is a lovely and cheerful 10-year-old boy. He is autistic and has type 1 diabetes as well as an intellectual disability. Allergies are also present.

• Assistance with daily living and tube feeding, as well as communication tools in the form of visual support.
• As an assistant, you will accompany the client on various vacation trips and different activities and day excursions.

1 night position at approximately 75%
1 position with varying day and night shifts at approximately 50%

Experience with diabetes is an advantage but not a requirement.

You must be able to communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written, as some documentation and record-keeping will be required. If you, or someone you know, is passionate about working with people and making a difference in someone's daily life, you are warmly welcome to apply.

A requirement for working with the client is that you must be able to submit a background check for HVB homes.

We are looking for someone who is:

• 20 years old or older
• Calm
• Has a driver's license
• Speaks fluent Swedish
• Experience working in healthcare is an advantage
• Experience with diabetes is an advantage
• Non-smoker

Other:

• You need to have Bank ID/mobile Bank ID to view the schedule and sign your timesheet at the end of the month.
• Selection is ongoing, so please apply in good time!
• You must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in Swedish as the job involves client contact and some documentation.
