Boxholm municipality is now looking for three social workers who want to drive the transition towards a more accessible, preventive, and sustainable social service – based on the new social services act.

About the role

As a social worker in the adult unit, you will work with authority exercises for adults with harmful use and dependence, social psychiatry, and financial assistance. The assignment includes, among other things:

• Investigating and assessing the need for interventions according to SoL
• Assessing and processing cases according to LVM
• Processing cases regarding maintenance support/financial assistance and the path to self-sufficiency
• Collaborating closely with other actors, both internally and externally
• Actively contributing to development and change work related to the new social services act

We are facing a transition where preventive work, accessibility, and a holistic view become even more important – and you will be part of shaping how it will look in practice.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker or has other education that the employer deems equivalent. You should have experience from authority exercises in at least one of the three areas. You preferably have experience working with harmful use and dependence, social psychiatry, or financial assistance – but most importantly is your commitment and willingness to develop together with us.

You are:

• Confident in your authority role, meeting people in various situations, and in making assessments, making decisions, and working in a politically governed organization
• Structured, responsible, and professional with the ability for self-leadership
• Curious, solution-focused, and open to new working methods
• Skilled in expressing yourself in the Swedish language, both orally and in writing
• Interested in change work, as well as environmental monitoring and willing to contribute to development
