About Viljan Active Care Rundelsgatan

Active Care's facility on Rundelsgatan is a specialized and individualized HVB located in Linköping. We accept children and young people aged 14-21 in need of individual treatment in our apartment concept. We actively and purposefully work to create a safe, trusting, and meaningful environment.

About the Role

As the Deputy Operations Manager, you are a key person in the organization and work closely with the Operations Manager and in the daily operations with engaged social pedagogues. On behalf of the Operations Manager, you are responsible for leading and driving the operational work at the residence. You have independent responsibility for the daily operations, planning of the organization, and creating good conditions for employees to deliver safe and quality care. You have delegated responsibility for personnel, economy, and quality as well as admission and discharge rights. You follow up on the organization's goals and contribute to the systematic quality work.

You report directly to the Operations Manager.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for and working in the daily operational activities.

  • Staffing responsibility and scheduling

  • Conduct systematic quality and operational development

  • Ensure that agreements, assignments, and regulations are followed

  • Maintain ongoing contact with customers, employees, and relatives

  • Economy and budget related to the operations

  • Ensure occupancy based on budget and set goals

  • Collaborate with support functions within the group

Furthermore, you have a solution-focused approach, with the ability to work proactively and towards set goals. In your daily work, you create good collaboration with employees, relatives, and external contacts. 

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • University education such as a social worker, behavioral scientist, or other equivalent education according to the requirements from the Health and Social Care Inspectorate (IVO)

  • Previous leadership experience

  • Previous experience working in HVB care for children and youth and/or social services.

  • Driving license B

Meritorious:

  • Experience from working in private care operations and/or experience in a leading position in a treatment facility.

  • Experience in leading organizations in development and change

  • Worked in a larger organization and/or company in strong growth

  • Step 1 education, basic psychotherapy.

Summary

Role: Deputy Operations Manager

Employment Type: Permanent, with a probationary period.

Working Hours: Full-time

Working Time: Daytime

Start Date: By agreement, preferably starting 1/6.
