Personal Assistant Needed for Active 15-Year-Old in Motala

Hello! I am an active 15-year-old boy attending a special needs school at the secondary level in Motala. On weekdays, I am at school and no assistance is scheduled. Working hours are instead adapted to my needs during study days, school holidays, weekends, and days off.

I live in two home environments with my parents and I am looking for someone who wants to meet me where I am – both today and as I grow older. You want to contribute to safety, continuity, and development in my daily life.

About the Job

You will support me in my daily living, for example through:

• Personal care and self-care
• Exercise, meal situations, and communication
• Social interaction and structure in everyday life
• Facilitating an active and meaningful leisure time as well as family activities

You will work closely with my parents and colleagues, convey important information, and follow common routines and methods. Travel may occur with me and my family, which means you need to be flexible and able to be away overnight if necessary.

Who Am I Looking For?

I am looking for someone who enjoys working in a team with a clear child focus and close cooperation with relatives. Personal suitability is very important.

You preferably have:

• Education in the field of disabilities or equivalent experience
• Experience working with children with intellectual disabilities and/or epilepsy
• Knowledge of low-arousal responses, clarifying pedagogy, and TAKK

It is an advantage if you have previous experience as a personal assistant and a B driver's license.
