Social Worker for Authority Exercise, Follow-Up Group of Social Services in Finspång

Do you want to work with us? We are looking for a social worker for the follow-up group at Social Services in Finspång.

Working in a smaller municipality like Finspång means close collaboration within IFO as well as with other services, allowing us to provide the right support to residents in need. When you start with us, you will receive basic training in Signs of Safety if you do not already have such training. Your Future Responsibilities

The follow-up group at IFO consists of six social workers and four family home secretaries. In the role of social worker in the follow-up group, you will follow up on placed children, contact family/contact person efforts. In Finspång, all children and youth placed in family homes or on HVB have their own social worker. We are looking for someone who is experienced in authority exercise at social services and well-versed in legislation such as SoL and LVU. For us, it is self-evident that children are the focus, and you need to understand the importance of communicating with children and working for their participation in all matters concerning them. In the role of social worker, you will need to balance documentation requirements with the importance of personal meetings and conversations with children, youth, and their families. We see the investigative and follow-up work as part of a change process, and in this role, you will often work together with other colleagues at IFO such as family home secretaries, family therapists, and adult caseworkers.

IFO in Finspång aims for each employee, in addition to everyday client work, to be able to drive some form of development work in various cross-groups. This means you will have the opportunity to contribute to quality-enhancing or administrative work in some form. We apply co-handling when needed but prefer that you have the courage to work independently in cases where possible. The foundation is always that you should feel secure in your work and receive support from colleagues and supervisors in the aspects that are part of daily work. We have weekly group meetings where the responsible manager participates. In these group meetings, we guide each other in a structured case supervision process. In addition to weekly group meetings, you will have dedicated time with your group manager for case support continuously. Once a month, we also have appreciative interviews in cross-groups, which is an opportunity to honor and celebrate our good work and collaboration, focusing on what we do well, in accordance with Signs of Safety. When you are new to the workplace, you will also receive a mentor who supports you a bit extra until you have settled into the work.

Working hours are primarily during the day, but uncomfortable working hours may occur. There is some opportunity to work from home when needed, depending on the business and in dialogue with the group manager. Flex agreements apply when you work as an authority exerciser with us.

Who Are You?

You have a degree in social work, and we prefer that you have experience in authority exercise at social services. We place great emphasis on previous experiences, personal suitability, and the ability to remain calm in demanding situations. We expect you to express yourself well in both speech and writing.

Conditions

A driver's license is required.
