We are now looking for a personal assistant for a positive 15-year-old boy in Linköping. The boy has an intellectual disability and autism. He enjoys activities such as driving, walking in the woods, swinging, and watching movies.

Your tasks will include assisting the boy with daily living activities (ADL) and supporting his communication, as well as being a support for him in various activities. No heavy lifting is involved.

We are currently looking for an assistant who can work on an as-needed basis, approximately 1–3 shifts per week (weekdays and weekends). On weekdays, the shifts are between 16:40 – 19:40. On weekends, the times can be more flexible and arranged in consultation with the parents. If you match well with our client, there are good prospects for more work in the summer. The position may involve travel, so a driver's license and access to a personal car are required.

• To understand our client's needs, you need to be proficient in the Swedish language.

Criminal Record Extract:

A criminal record extract is required since the boy is a minor. According to the law (2010:479), regarding the background check of personnel who will perform certain services for children with disabilities, we as employers are required to request a record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. The record extract must be submitted to us as the employer before the employment begins.
