Support Pedagogue Position within the Social Administration
The position is located within the Social Administration, which is one of eight administrations in Linköping Municipality. The Social Administration is responsible for authority exercise, ordering services, and self-management in the areas of individual and family care, LSS, and social psychiatry. We ensure that all residents receive the support they are entitled to. Do you want to brighten everyday life and improve the quality of life for the residents of Linköping? With us, you can make a significant difference and help make Linköping a better place. Welcome to us!
Your Responsibilities
In 2026, we will be launching a new daily activity with a café focus and are therefore looking for a driven and committed support pedagogue who wants to help build the operation from the ground up! The position is a permanent employment with a full-time workload of 100%. Working hours are scheduled during the day from Monday to Friday.
As a support pedagogue with us, you will work independently in the operation and guide individuals who have been granted daily activities. Together with the participants, you will be responsible for running the café operation and supporting them in the tasks that need to be performed. In addition, you will also be responsible for certain administrative tasks related to the operation, such as ordering goods and driving the educational work forward. This includes establishing and updating implementation plans as needed. You will have the support of an adult educator and a development leader. We also collaborate closely with other daily activities that also run cafés.
Your Workplace
The daily activities within Linköping Municipality cater to individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism who need support or guidance at work and have an LSS decision. We currently have about 30 daily activities with many different focuses, and there are currently seven operations where one is the sole supervisor, of which three are cafés. Together, we create good days with our employees. Within daily activities, support assistants, support pedagogues, adult educators, and development leaders work. We work in teams with the customer's best interests in mind.
The operation will start in 2026 and will be located in the Social Administration's premises on Drottninggatan in central Linköping. The target group will be individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism, and we expect to accommodate about 7-10 participants. We will have a café focus and sell pre-packaged food products. We will use a mobile coffee cart, but also sell goods over the counter. The operation will be under development, and tasks will be adapted according to needs and demand.
Now is your chance to be part of starting a business from scratch and shaping it to create the best possible days for those we are here for.
Warm welcome with your application!
