About the Job

Our client, an active and positive 30-year-old woman in a wheelchair with extensive care needs, is now looking for two dedicated and responsible personal assistants. Our client wants an active daily life and enjoys going for walks, making excursions, attending concerts, going to the movies, and participating in other community events.

The work as a personal assistant includes all personal care such as personal hygiene, medication, tube feeding, mobility assistance, physiotherapy, household chores, and leisure activities. As an assistant, you should be attentive and quickly interpret various signals from the client. You should be proactive and have the ability to engage and stimulate the client in various activities.

As an assistant, you should radiate warmth and security and have a positive attitude towards the client and colleagues. You who are applying should have a clear understanding of what the assistant profession entails and what is expected of you. You should have a strong work ethic and good teamwork skills. As an assistant, you should be physically fit as there will be lifting (mechanical lifts are available), turning, and longer walks with the wheelchair.

Client's Requirements and Preferences:

• Extract from the police criminal record.
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• SFI A, B, C; D.
• Swedish 1, 2, 3, 4.
• Experience with Trach, Peg, and epilepsy is an advantage.
