Your Responsibilities

As part of our team, you will work at one of our LSS accommodations in Doverstorp and be an important support in the individuals' daily lives.

With us, we communicate using sign language or adapt our communication in other ways based on the individual's needs.

You will work closely with the individuals to provide support in their daily activities, such as personal care, meals, hygiene routines, movement training, medication management, and social activities. With a pedagogical approach, you help them achieve their goals and create meaningful engagement. You are an important part of a dedicated team where we strive together to ensure that each individual has a meaningful and active daily life.

About You

We are looking for someone who has completed secondary education in health and care, child and leisure, or equivalent. Experience in similar fields, especially with individuals with disabilities or in psychiatric care, is an advantage.

Knowledge of sign language is considered a merit. You need to have good computer skills and be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. The ability to communicate in English is also important for the role.

As a person, you are positive, outgoing, and have an easy time building good relationships. You are flexible, responsible, and enjoy working with others, while also taking your own initiatives and finding solutions in everyday life. You are comfortable working alone and have the ability to take responsibility in independent work. It is also important that you have experience with challenging behaviors and are used to working in a low-arousal manner. We place great emphasis on personal suitability in this recruitment.

Employment

The position is a permanent employment with a six-month probation period, and the start date is as soon as possible by agreement. Working hours follow a schedule that includes day, evening, and weekend work, as well as possible on-call duties. We apply individual salary setting.

To be employed, a criminal record extract and a valid Swedish work permit are required. A B driver's license is a requirement.
