Code Summer Camp is the major event of the year for children and teenagers aged 7–17 interested in programming! The purpose is to spark children's and teenagers' interest and curiosity for technology, programming, digital creation, and problem-solving, regardless of prior knowledge.

Skill is leading the Code Summer Camp, which is organized in collaboration with Linköping Science Park. The camp is a means to work on long-term skills supply, which is important work for us. The summer camp will take place during the day over three weeks starting Monday, June 16.

In your role as a coach, you have the wonderful task of motivating, coaching, and helping participants during the camp. Participants will get to try everything from block programming, web programming, and more to game coding, participate in study visits, and join creative workshops. You and your fellow coaches will coach, teach, and inspire the participants.

You will work during the day for the three weeks the camp takes place. Before the camp, there are two introductory days focused on training for you as a coach, as well as a day with the team before the camp starts. Preparation time is included in the position.

The camp is organized during the following weeks:

• Week 25, Monday – Thursday (June 15–18): 13–17 years, 10–17 years (participants join digitally)

• Week 26, Monday – Friday (June 22–26): 7–9 years

• Week 27, Monday – Friday (June 29 – July 3): 10–12 years

We are looking for someone studying a program focused on technology and/or IT. To provide the best support and learning for the participants, we see that you have previous experience in pedagogical work and/or experience working with children.

You have a strong interest in technology and programming and recognize the importance of children and young people getting to try this early and opening their eyes to coding.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities, looking for someone who is outgoing with positive energy. You find it easy to collaborate with others and have a humble approach. We also see that you are flexible and can adapt to changing circumstances. You are excited about the opportunity to create a memorable camp experience for young people in your role as a coach!

You need to be available during the introductory days May 21–22 (full days) and June 8 (half day) and can work all three camp weeks. Fluent Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement for the position.
