About the Role

As a support pedagogue, you will work with the unit manager and special educator to ensure that the staff group has good knowledge and ability to provide services according to LSS to the individuals living in the unit. You will be an active part of the workgroup and participate in the daily work close to the individual. Your task is to ensure the various steps of the operational process such as planning, implementation, and evaluation/follow-up. You should ensure that laws and regulations are followed regarding documentation and quality assurance of methods and working methods at the unit. The role also includes providing support and guidance to staff in realizing implementation plans in the practical work with the individual.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who has a higher vocational education as a support pedagogue. Experience working with individuals with intellectual or neuropsychiatric disabilities is an advantage.

As a person, you are positive, outgoing, and have an easy time building good relationships. You are flexible, responsible, and enjoy working with others while also taking your own initiatives and finding solutions in everyday life. You are comfortable working alone and have the ability to take responsibility in independent work. It is also important that you have experience with challenging behaviors and are used to working in a low-arousal manner. We place great emphasis on personal suitability in this recruitment.

Employment

We offer a permanent position with a six-month probationary period and individual salary setting. Start date is according to agreement. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, weekends, and nights/on-call. To be considered for the position, you need to provide a criminal record extract, have a valid Swedish work permit, and hold a B driver's license.
