Who are we?

The municipal adult education offers flexible, high-quality education with varying study forms within SFI, basic and upper secondary levels, health and care education, as well as Komvux as special education. We are about 200 teachers teaching at S:t Olofsskolan, Källvindsskolan, and Vrinnevipark.

At Komvux SFI, S:t Olofsskolan, approximately 900 students study. Here, there is a competent team of teachers, assistants, counselors, administrators, librarians, and service staff.

The work teams operate based on study form (in-person or flexible studies) and different study paths with a focus on students' progression. We work systematically to ensure that students receive an equivalent education through, for example, co-assessment, co-planning, and equivalent course packages.

We are now looking for two substitute colleagues to join our dedicated SFI team at Komvux in Norrköping. With us, you will have the opportunity to teach motivated students and collaborate with competent colleagues in a dynamic work environment.

Your Responsibilities

As a teacher at Komvux SFI in Norrköping, you will focus on the best interests of the students. You are prepared to teach all study paths and courses, both in the classroom and digitally. You will work in teams with other teachers and assistants to create the best conditions for our students' learning.

You will collaborate with other teachers at SFI to create favorable conditions for students' development. Based on the syllabus and other governing documents, you will adapt your teaching to the students.

The work involves meeting individuals in various life situations. As a teacher, you will also work closely with our student health team. Our five lead teachers lead professional development and collegial learning within the unit.

Evening work may be required.

Who are you?

We are looking for a certified teacher with at least 30 credits in Swedish as a second language.

You have experience working with multilingual students within adult education and are familiar with the learning platform It’s Learning and distance education.

You are pedagogical, skilled at building relationships, and have good empathetic abilities. You enjoy collaborating collegially.

Furthermore, you plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively and can easily adapt to changing circumstances.
