Shape the Future of Nyköping with Us!

Nyköping is a municipality in strong growth – with a fantastic location by the sea and close to Stockholm. Here, urban and rural areas meet, cultural heritage and future optimism. It is a place that attracts both people and businesses, and we at the Division of Community Building are making it possible.

Our mission is to create conditions for sustainable development – socially, ecologically, and economically. We work with everything from strategic community planning, urban development, and exploitation to land management, building permits, environmental and health protection, food control, geodata, and public transport.

With us, you will be part of a team of about 100 dedicated employees – community planners, engineers, architects, strategists, inspectors, and administrators – who together drive development projects in both urban and rural areas. This may involve planning new neighborhoods, developing the Skavsta area, or creating attractive environments for living, businesses, and recreation.

Do you want to help build a sustainable and attractive Nyköping? Then we are the place for you!
