At the staffing unit, a total of 16 people currently work with staffing issues. Our mission is to meet the temporary staffing needs within the health and care administration, which means we staff regular housing, special housing, LSS, social psychiatry, and personal assistance with substitutes as needed.

We are now looking for two new colleagues who want to work with staffing in our operations during the summer period of 2026. We offer a fixed-term employment starting in mid-May and lasting for three months. You will be an important cog in our staffing group and support the operations, especially when regular staff are on vacation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a staffing assistant, you will be responsible for staffing our short-term assignments based on personnel needs. You will use our system, Time Care Pool, to plan and coordinate substitutes. You will also have daily contact with both substitutes and coordinators in our units. In case of urgent needs on weekends, it is also your responsibility to call in regular staff. In this role, you will receive support from colleagues, but there may also be instances of working alone.

You will have a scheduled job that means you work both weekdays, weekends, and public holidays. Working hours range from 06:30 to 17:15. You have the opportunity to influence your own schedule, which gives you some flexibility.

With us, you will have a varied and responsible job with many points of contact, both with customers and substitutes. You will become an important part of the operation and receive support from your colleagues, three unit managers, and a department manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

To thrive and succeed in this role, we see that you have completed high school education and have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. It is also important that you feel comfortable using IT tools to support your daily work.

It is an advantage if you have experience managing staffing issues, for example through substitute coordination or personnel placement. Experience using Time Care Pool or similar substitute management systems is also a plus. We also see that basic knowledge of the Working Hours Act and previous experience from service occupations, such as retail, telemarketing, or customer service, can be valuable.

To succeed as a staffing assistant with us, you need to be able to work independently and have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in an efficient manner. You should understand the importance of good service and be confident in making decisions. It is also important that you enjoy collaborating and working in a team, as you will have close contact with several colleagues.

An important part is that you can work during weeks 20 to 33, when some of our regular staff are on vacation.
