Communicator to Oxelösund Municipality

In the archipelago town of Oxelösund, you have close access to housing, work, communication, services, nature, and the sea. The municipality, strategically located in eastern Sörmland, has 12,000 inhabitants and a rich cultural and association life. Just over an hour to Stockholm and just under an hour to Norrköping, it is also not far to the region's airport, the E4 highway, and the railway.

We are a small team of communicators in Oxelösund Municipality who work closely together with internal and external communication.

In 2026, we will be working on the municipality's new comprehensive plan. To ensure good citizen dialogue, we are now looking for a communicator who can work with the entire communication chain in the project; from analysis and planning to implementation and follow-up. You will work closely with the project manager and actively contribute to identifying and meeting the project's communication needs. You will produce clear communication materials, both digital and analog, for selected target groups.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In addition to the comprehensive plan, you will work with your communication colleagues on other communication assignments planned for 2026.

You will work with graphic production, text and film production, and together with the departments we receive assignments from, you will plan the communication efforts. You will write and publish content on our websites and social media.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university degree in communication or other relevant experience that we consider equivalent is necessary
• Experience working as a communicator in projects is necessary
• Good knowledge of digital channels, tools, and methods is necessary
• Experience writing and filming for social media is necessary
• Good knowledge of Swedish, able to write clearly, simply, and understandably, as well as experience in formulating target group-adapted messages and texts is necessary
• Experience with Adobe products is necessary
• Knowledge of Sitevision or similar CMS is an advantage
• Experience in communication work in municipalities is an advantage
