Under our roof, we have an acute geriatric department with an associated mobile team called Alma, a stroke department with an associated team called ESD; a palliative department and specialist care at home; a memory clinic and a Parkinson's clinic. In our administrative unit, there is an administrative assistant, seven medical secretaries, an administrative unit manager, and a clinic administrator. With us, you will become part of a workgroup where we take care of each other and help each other in our daily tasks. We value a good work environment with respect, safety, and open dialogue. The work is done in close collaboration with all colleagues, where all voices are heard. We tackle tasks as a team, help each other, and maintain an unpretentious approach. We also work in a clinic-wide reception that we and the discharge coordinators from the acute geriatric department staff together.

Your Responsibilities

The tasks are varied but can be categorized into three areas:

  • medical documentation: writing dictations, handling referrals, writing letters, writing certificates, making action registrations, diagnosis coding, etc.
  • medical administration: visit registration, invoicing, mail handling, scanning, telephone, media management, etc.
  • clinic-wide reception: booking of transports and cleaning, department telephony, central contact, replenishing administrative materials, etc.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone who is service-oriented and takes the initiative based on the needs of the organization. You feel comfortable switching between different tasks and paces. You preferably have previous experience in service work, with experience in customer and patient interactions both over the phone and in personal meetings. Experience working in Cosmic is an advantage. You enjoy meeting people in various situations – whether it’s helping a patient find their way, supporting a colleague with a question, or coordinating practical tasks in daily life. You are unpretentious, collaborative, and see everyone’s contributions as important for the organization to function well.

A valid degree from a medical secretary/health administrator program is required. We place great importance on personal qualities and relevant experience.

Employment Type

Temporary position, 6 months, full-time 40h/week, starting April 1 or by agreement.
