Coordinator in LSS for Adults
Do you want a flexible role where you are the link between employees and management? As a Coordinator in LSS for adults, you will be a Coordinator and a link between three residences: Bynäsvägen 9, Ekbacken 3, and Klastorpsvägen 2.
Ekbacken:
The group residence is located in the residential area of Ekeby, about 3 kilometers from the center of Eskilstuna. There are good bus connections just a five-minute walk from the residence. In the vicinity, there are nice walking paths close to animals and nature. The area has grocery stores and the Tuna Park shopping center. The residence consists of 6 ground floor apartments.
Bynäsvägen:
The group residence is located in the villa area of Mesta, about 5 kilometers from the center of Eskilstuna. There are good bus connections just a five-minute walk from the residence. In the vicinity, there is a pizzeria and nice walking paths close to nature. The residence consists of 6 ground floor apartments.
We conduct work and activities. The individuals living here have significant physical support needs.
Klastorpsvägen 2:
The group residence is located in the residential area of Borsökna, about 8 kilometers from the center of Eskilstuna. There are good bus connections, with a bus stop right at the property line. In the nearby villa area, there are nice walking paths and proximity to nature, animals, and a lake. It is 4 km to grocery stores and 6 km to the Tuna Park shopping center. The residence consists of 6 apartments over 2 floors.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a coordinator, you will lead and distribute the daily work in the workgroup, while also supporting and motivating your colleagues through your leadership. You will become an important part of the team and collaborate closely with the unit manager and your colleagues at the residences. You will be mobile between the three group residences where your workplace will vary each day. Working hours are daytime on weekdays, and you need to be able to start the day at 6:30 and also finish around 14-15:00. You are the link between employees, management, and relatives.
You will be responsible for scheduling and staffing, purchasing, handling administrative tasks and some documentation, and being the right hand of the unit manager. You will ensure that substitutes are appointed as needed and that there is daily planning for the staff. You will cover at the residence when necessary to ensure a stable operation. You will also be responsible for onboarding new hires and booking delegations. In your role, you will collaborate internally but also with the region. Regardless of your area of responsibility, you will plan your time, prioritize tasks, and ensure that the operation runs smoothly and safely for both users and relatives. The day changes constantly, so you need to adapt and prioritize, making flexibility important.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has completed high school education, preferably as a nursing assistant. You have a B driver's license and experience working with our target group within LSS. You need to have good computer skills and proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. You have experience with scheduling and are accustomed to working in staffing systems. Experience with documentation and purchasing/payroll systems or other system experience is advantageous. Leadership training in some form is also a plus. As a person, you are calm and attentive. You are also pedagogical and can explain complex information clearly. The role requires you to plan your time well and sometimes participate in meetings in the evenings or on weekends. No case is the same as another, so you need to be a flexible and creative person to find solutions and new paths forward. It is important that you are independent so that you can make your own decisions. You also have an economic mindset as purchasing is part of your responsibilities.
