The Department of Educational Support supports the university's education at undergraduate and advanced levels and within commissioned education. The department is also responsible for admissions and examinations, internationalization and student mobility, recruitment support, and administrative systems such as Ladok and the admissions system NyA, as well as support for the university's quality work in education.

We also handle educational information, exam coordination, educational administration, and management of workplace-based education.

Job Responsibilities

As an exam supervisor at MDU, your responsibilities include the following tasks:

• Preparation and follow-up work related to examinations
• Ensure that examinations are conducted fairly and securely
• Contribute to a calm and safe examination environment
• Direct students to their writing places, read out room rules, distribute and collect writing materials
• Conduct identity checks and ensure that students are registered for the exam and deny any unauthorized individuals
• Monitor for any misleading behavior
• Prepare for upcoming exams
• Lead and distribute tasks to other exam supervisors when working in large halls

As an exam supervisor, you are responsible for ensuring that the written exams can start and be submitted correctly and on time, whether conducted digitally or on paper. You ensure that there is calm and order in the room and that examinations are conducted in accordance with applicable regulations.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least one year of experience working as an exam supervisor at Mälardalen University
• Worked as a responsible exam supervisor in a large hall and led and distributed tasks to other exam supervisors
• Experience working with digital written exams in Inspera
• Experience being the first contact person for questions from other exam supervisors
• IT skills - WIFI, installation and updating of specific programs, and knowledge of operating systems
• Can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English

For this position, it is an advantage if you have:

• Experience in training new supervisors.

You feel comfortable informing larger groups and have good collaborative skills. The role requires you to be mobile and able to move freely in the exam room for up to five hours.
