The medical clinic is the largest in the region and includes nephrology, general internal medicine, cardiology, geriatrics, endocrinology, hematology, gastroenterology, SSIH, neurology, and stroke.

The mission is based on the overarching goals of healthcare, where we aim to provide the citizens of Södermanland with a safe and smooth journey through care with the right use of resources.

Your Tasks

As a medical secretary, you will work flexibly with various tasks within medical documentation, reception work, document registration, Tele Q, bookings, etc. The job involves close collaboration with colleagues, other professional categories, and contacts with external care providers. We strive to constantly work on development and quality work within the organization, and we have assignments distributed regarding routine work, digital platforms, and more. In the autumn of 2025, we introduced the region's future care and information system (FVIS), which includes a new medical record system called Cosmic. Now the work continues to implement local working methods and develop routines and work on improvements. If this feels inspiring, there are all opportunities. The clinic is large with several different units and areas of operation, and there are good opportunities for a varied and developing job. We work with both outpatient and inpatient care.

Your Competence

You should have documented education as a medical secretary/medical administrative assistant. You have good knowledge of medical terminology and the Swedish language, both spoken and written. We are looking for someone who is flexible, has the ability to work with and see the need for change, as well as good communication and collaboration skills. It is important that you have a positive attitude, are service-oriented, and care about providing a good reception. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
