Job Description
As a residential assistant, you play an important role in supporting users towards a more independent everyday life. A large part of the work involves building trust, creating safety, and being present in both everyday and difficult moments. You provide support and guidance in both practical and social activities, such as accompanying to medical appointments, participating in social contexts, or helping with household chores. Together with your colleagues, you create a meaningful, rich, and developing everyday life for the users.
You work based on the implementation plan developed together with the user and collaborate with colleagues in the team, licensed personnel, and external actors. Your tasks also include administering medication and carrying out prescriptions from licensed personnel. Additionally, it includes documentation and, if necessary, establishing and updating implementation plans.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant or support educator and has experience working within LSS or social psychiatry. In the role, you need to feel secure in communicating in Swedish, both orally and in writing. You have good experience with documentation and working in digital systems. Since travel is a natural part of the job, a B driver's license is required. You need to feel confident driving a car during work hours.
To succeed in the role, you easily adapt to changing situations and see opportunities in changes. You collaborate well with others, communicate clearly, and handle challenges constructively. You are a person who can empathize with others' perspectives and meet people with respect. Furthermore, your communication is clear, and you ensure that messages, expectations, and follow-ups are clear for all involved.
