Are you perhaps currently working as a consultant but miss regular team meetings, unit meetings, and safety rounds? Then Targeted Support might be the right place for you!
The Social Administration in Uppsala is transitioning to the new Social Services Act (SoL) and is focusing on high quality in its work. One of the department's main focuses is to promote the participation of children and families and to increase the involvement of networks.
As support in this work, Targeted Support currently consists of eight dedicated caseworkers, two team leaders, four coordinators, and one manager. We offer flexible working methods and a healthy balance between work and private life. In this position, there are good opportunities to work partially remotely.
Job Description
The Child and Youth Authority is a large and complex organization with eleven units and many social workers. Like all organizations, the units are occasionally affected by high inflow or unforeseen events. To meet these internal needs, we have experienced, self-sufficient social workers who, like social work consultants, can relieve the various units for a limited period. You will work with all aspects of authority operations such as investigations, follow-up of open care interventions, care outside the home according to SoL and the Act on Special Provisions concerning the Care of Young People (LVU).
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and experience in case management within the Child and Youth Authority. You need to have solid experience in the field and be independent in all areas. The job requires that you have a B driver's license. If you have completed the basic training in Signs of Safety and are grounded in the approach, it is considered an advantage.
As a person, you are secure and stable in yourself and have a good understanding of who you are and how you function. You plan and organize your work effectively and take responsibility for your tasks. Furthermore, you remain calm and composed in various situations and can focus on the right things. The job suits you if you are flexible and can easily adapt to changing circumstances.
