About us
HVB Villa Nora is a residential care home for girls aged 10-14 who are in unsuitable environments, have committed minor offenses, experimented with drugs, and exhibit outwardly aggressive behavior.
The residence is located about 5 km outside Uppsala, in a rural setting close to nature.
We work based on learning psychological principles and evidence-based methods with a focus on CBT. With the help of clarifying pedagogy, we will be able to create structure and safety, which helps clients understand their daily lives and take responsibility for their development.
About the position
As a coordinator, you will be operationally responsible for the unit together with the operations manager. You are expected to independently lead, organize, and develop the operations in accordance with applicable legislation, guidelines, goals, and steering documents, as well as in accordance with assignments from the client. You will function as a team leader for your employees and also work on certain tasks that are part of the treatment pedagogue role.
The work will also involve being an important part of the daily contact with the youth by, among other things, facing everyday life together and having supportive conversations.
As a coordinator at HVB Villa Nora, you will primarily work with, in consultation with the operations manager:
- Main responsibility for clients
- Coordinate tasks, review, and quality develop the operations
- Resource planning
- Establish and revise implementation plans
- Documentation
- Coach and guide staff
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who is solution-oriented, organized, and responsible. You have a positive outlook and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. To succeed in this role, we would like you to have an easy time building relationships and possess good collaboration skills.
The role requires a degree in social work, behavioral science, or at least a two-year post-secondary education, such as a treatment pedagogue or social pedagogue. Work experience and other competencies that the employer deems equivalent may also be relevant.
It is also advantageous if you:
- have experience working in treatment for children and youth
- have experience with CBT
- have experience with documentation work and medication management
- have experience in a supervisory role
Working hours and employment rate: 100%. Working hours are Monday to Friday, during the day and evening.
Salary: To be agreed upon, and other compensation is according to collective agreements.
Other:
- A driving license (B) is required
- You must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written
- Good computer skills are required
- Before employment, we will request an extract from the Police Authority's criminal record and suspicion register.
