Trygga Familjehem i Sverige AB is now looking for a secure, engaged, and relationship-building contact person for a 19-year-old young man in Enköping.

The young person has a longer history of institutional placements and is currently in an important phase where the focus is on building a stable and independent adult life. He needs a secure adult who can be a support, role model, and source of motivation in everyday life.

About the assignment

The assignment covers approximately 10 hours per week with a planned start in mid-July.

As a contact person, you will work closely with the young person and among other things:

• Be a support in daily life and build a long-term, trust-based relationship.
• Motivate towards work, studies, or other meaningful activities.
• Support the development of daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, finances, and contacting authorities.
• Encourage meaningful leisure activities and a healthy lifestyle.
• Strengthen the young person's self-esteem, hope for the future, and ability to make positive decisions.
• Contribute to creating and maintaining a positive social network free from crime and destructive environments.

We are looking for you who

• Are secure, stable, and have a genuine commitment to young people.
• Have an easy time building trust-based relationships.
• Are clear, sensitive, and have a good ability to motivate others.
• Are a positive role model with a low-affective and respectful approach.

It is meritorious if you have experience working with young people, for example within social work, residential care (HVB), youth custody (SiS), open care, schools, or similar operations. Experience working with young people at risk, involving crime, substance abuse, or other social issues is seen as particularly positive.

• The assignment is carried out in Enköping.
• Scope: approximately 10 hours per week.
• Start: mid-July.
• Remuneration according to agreement.
• Introduction, supervision, and ongoing support are offered by Trygga Familjehem i Sverige AB.

In the event of an assignment, an extract from the criminal record for work at HVB (residential care for youth) will be requested. We will also conduct an assessment of personal suitability, as great importance is placed on the ability to create secure and long-term relationships.
