What does the job of a personal assistant entail?

As a personal assistant with us, you work closely with a person with a disability, supporting them in living an independent and meaningful life. It is a job that is both varied and personal; no day is like the other.

You may, for example:

• Assist with daily chores at home
• Support with personal care
• Accompany on activities, outings, or errands
• Be a social support and contribute to safety and structure
• Help create an active, fun, and fulfilling daily life

The work is always shaped according to the individual's needs, wishes, and life situation. This means you get to know a person deeply and become an important part of their daily life and well-being.

Since each client has different needs, the requirements and tasks for the position may vary. It can involve everything from specific tasks to preferences for personal qualities, interests, or language skills. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is flexible, attentive, and open to adapting their working style to the person they are working with.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Can work all or most of the summer
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Has a B driver's license and access to a personal car (for certain positions)
• Has experience in similar work, which is an advantage but not a requirement
• Has a genuine interest in people and service
• The most important thing is that you have the right attitude and want to do a good job. We will teach you the rest.
