Would you like to be offered an exciting and developing job while working to provide people with a good life every day? Do you also want the opportunity to develop at a company that has commitment, joy, and responsibility as its guiding principles? Then you have the chance to apply for a job with us at Humana. In this role, you will work with us towards our vision – Everyone has the right to a good life.

About us

We are now looking for summer substitutes for our three HVB homes, Löten, Löten 2, and Villa Fridhem.

Löten/Löten 2 is for young people with dependency issues and/or psychosocial and/or neuropsychiatric problems. They often have difficulties with family and school, mental health issues, self-harming behavior, isolation, anger or impulse control, criminality, risk or dependency, conflict-filled relationships, and various forms of risk behaviors.

We take placements according to SoL and LVU.

At Löten/Löten 2 and also Villa Fridhem, we primarily work based on learning psychological principles and evidence-based methods focusing on CBT and work from manual-based DBT. By observing and clarifying functional behaviors, we draw the young person's attention to strategies and tools for managing life situations independently.

Treatment occurs in the form of various types of conversations, training in social situations, and role-playing. Other parts of our treatment plan include LAB, MI, A-CRA, ART, mindfulness, yoga, and equine-assisted interventions. Löten/Löten 2 is also certified for Connect, an evidence-based method to ensure a healthy and secure attachment between staff and youth.

We also work with social skills training where young people practice social and practical skills through daily activities together with staff and other youth. The foundation is a structured and predictable everyday life where young people meet staff and other adults as good role models in the situations that arise.

Our approach is to be a safe base for the young people who stay with us, and through good care and treatment, create good conditions for positive and lasting change in each individual. We work salutogenically, motivation-supporting, and low-arousal. Treatment is guided by individual implementation plans based on the young person's needs, conditions, and strengths. It is crucial to build honest relationships and show each young person that we are always there for them. Working with the young people's motivation and active participation throughout the treatment process ensures that we focus on their needs and resources, and that the demands are reasonable and understandable.

At the HVB home Villa Fridhem, we work with boys aged 14-18 years in a similar way to how we do at Löten and Löten 2.
