About Humbla

Humbla works with supported housing for young people, foster care, LSS housing, and outpatient care. We have offices in Uppsala, Fruängen, Sollentuna, Gävle, and Rimbo.

In Uppsala, Humbla has enhanced supported housing for young people aged 16-20. We work individually with all the young people who live in their own apartments with access to staff around the clock.

Your responsibilities

As a youth coach, you support and guide young people in their daily lives.

Each young person has their own youth coach who works based on the individual's needs. This may involve assistance with daily routines, schoolwork, household finances, relationships, and personal well-being.

You contribute to making a difference and work towards the organization's set goals.

Education, experience, and qualifications

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education equivalent to treatment pedagogy, social pedagogy, or another equivalent qualification.

You have at least 3 years of experience working with children and young people with mental health issues and substance abuse problems.

Further training in Criminality Programs, Relapse Prevention, Motivational Interviewing, A-CRA, RePulse, and CBT is advantageous.

A valid driver's license (B) is required, as well as good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. You should be able to independently document and write reports for monthly reports.

Personal qualities

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. You are secure and have a good ability to handle different types of situations and can meet individuals based on their circumstances and needs.

You have good collaboration skills, are engaged, patient, and flexible, and have a strong ability to create participation.
