Håbo parish is located in a growing municipality with both a small-town feel and proximity to nature. We want to continue strengthening our diaconal work and are now looking for an ordained deacon for a six-month temporary position. Apply now or by April 17!

The temporary position is 50% and lasts for six months. As a parish deacon with us, you will have a broad and meaningful role where you, together with other employees, contribute to the parish's diaconal work.

Responsibilities

• Meet people in various life situations through conversation, support, and presence.
• Lead diaconal activities.
• Collaborate with other community actors and volunteers.
• Participate in worship life.
• Be an active part of the parish's work team.

We are looking for someone who

• is an ordained deacon in the Church of Sweden.
• is attentive, confident, and trustworthy.
• has a good ability to work both independently and in a team.
• enjoys meeting people in various life situations.
