Unika Grevegatan is located in Tierp and is a group home according to LSS. The group home has 5 apartments situated in central Tierp, just a 2-minute walk from Tierp train station.

The accommodation is aimed at individuals who have an LSS decision for group housing in person group 1, 2, or 3.

At Grevegatan, we actively work with experiences, both individually and collectively. There is a service vehicle for joint excursions.

As a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to individuals with disabilities, aiming to promote their independence and well-being in everyday life. You will support our residents in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point.

We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, focusing on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for the users to achieve as much independence as possible and to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you will work based on clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal responses to create security and predictability in the users' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the resources and budget of the organization.

You are relationship-building, calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive manner, enjoying working with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see the individual's needs.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

• Good computer skills, experience with documentation.

• Experience in care and support work.

• Driver's license.

• Upper secondary education such as child and leisure program, care and support program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogy, social pedagogy, or university education in a relevant field.

• Experience in psychiatry, AAC, and low-arousal responses.

• Experience working with complex support needs.

Employment Type: SÄVA hourly employment Working Hours: Work Schedule: Day, evening, weekend. We have sleeping on-call duty. Start Date: By agreement, we view positively if you can start soon. Collective Agreement: We are bound by the collective agreement with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Branch E.
