I am looking for you, a 23-year-old active and positive girl living just outside Uppsala. I enjoy shopping, going on excursions, hanging out with friends, and maybe taking our dogs out. During the day, I am at DV (daily activities) where you will also accompany me.

I need help with all aspects, such as personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, feeding via gastrostomy, and transfers (ceiling lifts are used, but manual lifts occur).

I am an active person, so this is not a job where you sit still all day. I use a wheelchair and electric wheelchair, and I communicate using alternative communication methods, AAC, and signs – therefore, it is important that you have patience and a warm, encouraging demeanor. I am also very good at communicating.

Who are you?
You are a calm, responsible person who enjoys helping others. You have a good sense of humor, are detail-oriented, and easily connect with others. You must be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. Previous experience as a personal assistant is a plus – but the most important thing is your willingness to learn and your commitment to making a difference in someone else's life.

Important to know
There are pets in the home – so you should not be allergic. We are only looking for female assistants. A driver's license and access to a car are required (to get to and from the workplace and to drive during work). You must be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Working hours:
Weekdays 7–16, 16–22, and weekends/holiday weekends 7–17 or 12–22. We are now looking for someone interested in an 80% position, which includes weekends, evenings, and day shifts.
