We are looking for a substitute assistant for a cheerful, lively, and active 11-year-old girl. She is a forward-moving, energetic girl who loves to play and have fun! Discovering and exploring new things is very exciting for her. She enjoys building with blocks, exploring the function and form of objects, and loves to play in the playground or the woods.

The girl lives in Skyttorp with her family. There are good transport and bus connections available. Assistance is also provided in the family's house in Denmark during school holidays.

It is important that you are meticulous as there is medical technical equipment such as manual suction, saturation meters, oxygen, and inhalation equipment.

Experience with tube feeding, TAKK/sign language, visual support or communication programs, children with autism and hyperactivity is an advantage. Training in respiratory monitoring, oxygen therapy, and emergency care is provided by a qualified nurse through Home Pediatric Care at the Academic Children's Hospital.

The girl needs help in her daily life with hygiene and care of her gastrostomy, medications, inhalation treatment, adapted drinks and diet, respiratory monitoring, and oxygen therapy using a high-flow nasal cannula with MyAirvo 2 during sleep. It also includes motor skills and movement training in the form of play and exercises as well as sign language training.

You will accompany her in daily life and will be present at school, medical visits, outings, and family trips. As an assistant, you will be with her both indoors and outdoors. The girl does not have her own speech but is very communicative with sounds, signs, and body language. You will be her interpreter and translator to the people she meets. She uses TalkPad. The assistant helps and supports her communication with TAKK and TalkPad. Therefore, good Swedish, both spoken and written, is required.

We are looking for someone who is a calm and observant person with great patience. You are confident in working independently. You are used to taking care of children and have experience working in healthcare. You have retained your childlike spirit and enjoy engaging and playing with children. Since the work is in a family with children, we place great importance on personal suitability.

This is an active, alert assistance role, divided into 2-3 shifts during the day. We are currently looking for someone for a substitute position on a 75% schedule. You should be able to work daytime at school, and evening and night shifts on weekdays and some weekends are also included.

You are a non-smoker. You need to have a good command of Swedish in both speech and writing. The substitute position is on a schedule for 12 months but can be terminated early if the regular assistant returns sooner. There is a possibility for full-time work during the summer.
