As a caseworker in the Child and Youth Unit, your main tasks will include:

• Authority exercise within Children and Youth
• Case management in family law
• Investigations according to SoL and LVU
• Investigate, implement, and follow up on decided interventions
• Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Work according to BBIC and implementation of Signs of Safety

We are therefore looking for someone who meets the following requirements:

• Degree in social work, or a bachelor's degree of 180 credits including 30 credits in social law, which can be certified with a diploma.
• At least 4 years of experience in investigations concerning Children and Youth according to BBIC
• Experience with LVU cases and negotiations
• Independent in investigative work
• Experience in handling urgent cases

Other requirements:

• Hold a valid B driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Good collaboration skills and an analytical approach
• Ability to work independently and flexibly
• Experience in guiding colleagues
• Must not have worked in Östhammar Municipality in the last 12 months

Meritorious:

• Experience with Cambio Viva
• Experience in family law
