Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each customer is unique, and your tasks vary based on the customer's needs. You respect the customer's self-determination and privacy and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, committed, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are currently looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a 24-year-old man living outside Uppsala

• has good knowledge of Swedish

• is physically fit, as the job involves transfers and heavy lifting

• is tolerant of pets, as there are dogs and cats in the home

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience in similar work

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The position is a summer temporary job from June 29, 2026, to August 23, 2026, with an introduction 1-2 weeks before the start. The employment rate is approximately 60%.

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

• weekdays from 15:25 to 20:30

• every other weekend from 09:30 to 20:30

Hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are according to collective agreements.
