Welcome to our workplace in central Uppsala!

We are located in the City Hall, right in the heart of Uppsala, and offer a modern and fresh work environment. Here you have the opportunity to choose your workspace based on your specific tasks, which gives you great freedom to plan your work independently. Thanks to our digitized processing system, you have the opportunity to work from home 1–2 days a week, if your tasks allow it. This provides a good balance between work and private life.

We strive to be transparent towards our users and fulfill our service obligations, while also being legally secure and efficient in our processing. We are constantly working on development, both personal and organizational, and you have the opportunity to contribute to this development.

We work in a complex operation with occasionally high tempo, and you need to be a person who can independently plan your work to meet the needs of the operation. But you are not alone - in the unit, colleagues work closely together, and the team leader is there to support you in cases. We offer an introductory period where you will receive support from a mentor and an introductory program with training that is valuable in the role of case officer. We give you a good start in your new job and the opportunity to develop in your role.

  • Actively seeking information about new rulings and using legal databases to stay updated on the legal situation

Your Background

We are looking for someone who is a qualified social worker or has another education relevant to the position. You thrive in meeting people and combine this with good linguistic and digital skills.
