At the Social Services Department in Enköping Municipality, we work together to help residents who are in difficult and vulnerable life situations.

We have close management and are constantly working actively on the development of the organization. As a foundation in our approach, we have chosen to use motivational interviewing (MI) for those we serve. Part of our management structure involves working in cross-functional teams between departments. With about 160 employees in the department, we have good conditions for effective internal collaboration.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Labor Market and Welfare is one of four departments within the Social Services that is responsible for authority exercise. Starting in January 2025, a new operational area will be created where the team will be included along with the labor market unit and the department's own work training operations.

The Welfare Support Team's primary mission is to investigate, make decisions, and follow up on approved interventions within financial assistance, in accordance with current legislation.

QUALIFICATIONS

Since we work together in the department, we are looking for someone with a degree in social work or equivalent education, where you have supplemented your education with the knowledge required to meet the qualifications of a social worker.

You should be interested in motivational and change work and have experience in authority exercise within social services. You should be knowledgeable in all legislation concerning social services for both children and adults.

Documentation is a significant part of the job. Therefore, you must be able to communicate clearly and have a good ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing. It is important that you have good collaboration skills while also being able to work independently and in a structured manner. You need to be proactive, responsible, and flexible. It is crucial that you remain calm and can handle stressful situations.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Since some driving is required as part of the job, a valid driver's license (B) is a requirement.

We work with the operational system LifeCare.
