Through the phone number 1177, healthcare advice is offered around the clock, every day of the year.

1177 is a national service available in all regions and counties of Sweden. Our mission is to make a qualified medical assessment, prioritization, and provide advice for self-care or, if necessary, refer to the appropriate level of care. We operate according to a national decision support and a specific conversation methodology.

1177 by phone works for national development and collaboration towards a digital healthcare advice service. The goal is for residents to have increased access to personal advice and faster assistance in reaching the right level of care and support, across multiple channels.

The operation is led by regional area managers, operations managers, and unit managers. Each unit employs nurses and administrators. Our offices in the Västra Götaland region are located in Alingsås, Gothenburg, Skövde, and Uddevalla. We are also part of a national network with other regions in Sweden.

About the Job

As an administrator, your main task is to receive and handle administrative calls in our phone line. You guide callers to the right instance and provide information about, for example, opening hours, patient fees, contact details for various care units, and the e-services of 1177.se. You will also work with invoice management, purchasing and orders both internally and externally, inventory management, mail handling, external contacts with, for example, janitors, cleaning staff, and property managers, and share primary responsibility for staff facilities. Other tasks may be added based on your competencies.

About You

We are looking for someone with at least a completed upper secondary education and previous experience in administrative work within similar operations. Furthermore, you have experience working with a phone and computer as your main tools. You also have knowledge and experience with the Office suite.

As a person, you are secure, service-oriented, and value good interactions with both callers and colleagues. We place great importance on personal suitability, where flexibility, accuracy, and the willingness to contribute with good communication are key elements.

Conditions

The position is temporary for a one-year contract, with the possibility of extension. The employment rate is 75-100%, by agreement.
