Your New Job

Being an economist with us is a varied and exciting assignment! As an economist for the Management Sector, you will work consultatively and supportively regarding financial issues such as budgets, follow-ups, forecasts, year-end accounts, and internal control, which involves close contact with managers and close collaboration with the management group of the administration. The position also includes being a presenter in the municipal council. The role may encompass other assignments within the financial area and also assignments for other administrations within the municipality.

The position includes being the system administrator for the financial system Raindance and the management and quality system Stratsys.

You will develop professionally through the issues you encounter in your work and will be given the opportunity to influence working methods and tools. Together with other employees, you will contribute to achieving the goals of the finance department through, among other things, environmental monitoring and the development of common working methods.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone with a university degree in economics or another education that we consider equivalent. You have a knack for communication, both verbally and in writing, and can explain economics in a pedagogical way to those who are not economists. Experience in system administration and municipal operations is an advantage.

As a person, you are service-oriented, easy to collaborate with, meticulous, and used to taking responsibility for your tasks. You have good strategic and analytical skills that contribute to the development of the organization. You see the challenge in a varied and sometimes fast-paced work situation with high goals. In recruitment, we will place great emphasis on your personal qualities. Interviews may begin before the application period ends. A probationary period may be relevant.
