As a controller, you are the spider in the web when it comes to staffing planning.

You support unit managers so that each unit receives the right resources at the right time, and provide operational managers with clear data to steer the organization forward. The goal? A balanced budget, smooth staffing, and efficient planning of personnel resources.

The Hisingen urban area has driven and engaged management teams with approximately 48 unit managers, 5 method developers, 2 operational developers, and 5 operational managers.

The executing operations consist of housing with special services, daily activities, and short-term accommodation on Byalagsgatan. We continue to grow, so we look forward to welcoming even more colleagues to our team. We work together with other employees to provide individuals with support based on LSS, SoL, and healthcare with high quality based on given conditions.

As an Administrator with the role of Staffing Controller, you will work for the Hisingen urban area and be organized under the operational manager.

Here you will have a role where structure meets problem-solving, and where your work is crucial for individuals receiving support from us to get the highest quality assistance. You will develop the work with staffing planning based on both short- and long-term needs as well as laws and agreements. You will also act as support to managers and collaborate with schedule planners, method developers, support educators, BC colleagues in Hisingen, and other staffing controllers in the city and financial controllers.

Your assignment includes introducing managers and relevant employees to the Time Care systems and the staffing process related to the budget. You will be part of an inter-departmental network for staffing controllers where the details of the work are coordinated.

Your working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday. Flexible hours apply.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with education in finance or administration from high school or vocational school, or other education and experience that the employer deems equivalent.

The role requires a good understanding of personnel logistics and that you have worked with Time Care planning or another planning tool for staff scheduling. We also want you to have experience in administration for operations with scheduled around-the-clock staffing.

You need to have experience with budget work, be an experienced user of Excel, and be able to build financial calculations related to schedule planning in Excel.

It is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing, as well as a good understanding of labor law and agreements.

It is an advantage if you have several years of experience with TimeCare systems (or another staffing planning system) and have a good understanding of the organization of Gothenburg City and its administration.

It is important that you can effectively identify and analyze the core of a problem and propose possible solutions. You have the ability to see connections and can draw logical conclusions from limited and/or complex information.

You see opportunities for change and create situations where new ideas and proposals can develop. You motivate and describe changes pedagogically and handle questions about change in a constructive manner. You drive long-term and sustainable change work, both at the local and overarching level.
