Interim Accountant Needed

Are you a reliable accountant who can quickly step in and support the daily financial function? We are now looking for an interim accountant for a temporary consulting assignment where you will have clear operational responsibility during a transition period.

ABOUT THE POSITION

This is an interim assignment for 2–3 months via Academic Work, where you will work as a consultant for our client and report to the CFO. The assignment is suitable for you who are self-driven, structured, and used to working operationally in accounting processes with a short ramp-up time.

The focus is on ensuring correct and efficient management of ongoing finances; the employment is as a consultant through us, and we wish to hire the person ourselves.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Tasks

As an interim accountant, you will be responsible for daily financial management and ensure that ongoing accounting functions correctly throughout the assignment. You will work operationally and independently in close collaboration with the CFO.

Your role includes, among other things:

  • Working with ongoing bookkeeping as well as accounts receivable and payable
  • Managing invoicing, supplier invoices, and making payments
  • Performing account reconciliations before VAT and period-end closing
  • Ensuring correct reporting of VAT, taxes, and employer declarations
  • Preparing monthly reports and being responsible for structured archiving of financial documents

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Has an economic education at the high school or post-secondary level
  • Has several years of experience in finance/accounting
  • Is confident in ongoing bookkeeping and financial flows
  • Works in a structured, meticulous, and independent manner
  • Has high integrity and good communication skills
  • Thrives in a consulting role where you quickly adapt to new environments
  • Speaks and writes Swedish & English fluently

It is a merit if you have:

  • Experience in payroll management and personnel administration
  • Previous work with employer declarations and contact with authorities
