The Social Care Administration in Borås City is responsible for the municipality's disability services, social psychiatry, and health and medical care interventions for the mentioned target groups. With approximately 1000 employees and 45 managers, we continuously work to improve the quality of our services for those we serve.

Job Consultant for Job Resource

As a job consultant, you will independently be responsible for a number of participants with some form of disability under LSS or SoL, who need support to enter work-like activities. You will make assessments and mappings and guide participants to the right activity within Borås City or to the open labor market. You will be responsible for documentation, implementation plans, and provide support for participants and supervisors at workplaces. The role also includes collaboration with other actors regarding the participants. You will be part of a team with four other job consultants and a support educator.

We are looking for someone who wants to be part of an exciting, challenging, and developing job. You need to be proactive, able to work independently, and also have an easy time collaborating. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a requirement. Since you will sometimes work together with participants in different environments, you need to have good physical fitness. You should have completed higher education in disability studies, pedagogy, or other equivalent education deemed suitable by the employer. Documentation is part of the job, so it is required that you have good knowledge and experience in documentation. A driving license (B) is required. Training in Supported Employment is an advantage. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
