Job Opening for Acting Judge at Uddevalla District Court
Uddevalla District Court is a court with approximately 45 employees, including nine regular judges, including the chief judge, and two court clerks. The court handles over 3,800 cases and matters each year.
The jurisdiction extends from Stenungssund in the south to Strömstad in the north.
The court is located in central Uddevalla in modern and functional premises. There are good transport links to, for example, Gothenburg by bus or train.

Job Responsibilities
As an acting judge, you will handle all types of cases and matters that arise at the court. The responsibilities will mainly involve being the chairperson at all kinds of hearings and meetings, and deciding on cases and matters in connection with them.
Qualifications
You should be a skilled, analytical lawyer with good judgment, as well as being flexible and having a high work capacity. You should be able to participate in the judicial activities immediately. You should also be open, driven, and goal-oriented, always with the perspective of the court's best interests in focus. You should have well-developed collaboration skills and contribute to a good atmosphere in the workplace.
To be considered, you must be or have been a rental judge, a regular judge, an appellate court assessor, or an administrative court assessor, a clerk in an appellate court or administrative court, or have performed the duties of an appellate or administrative court clerk for at least six months. You must meet the requirements for regular judges set by the Judicial Appointments Board.

The employment is a special fixed-term position for three months with the possibility of extension.
