Are you an experienced controller with solid expertise in municipal finance and operational management? We are now looking for someone who wants to work broadly with budgeting, forecasting, and qualified financial support within the school sector. About the position Start: March 2026 End: October 2026

As a controller, you will play a central role in driving and ensuring the quality of the work with budgeting, forecasts, and financial follow-up for the entire learning section. The section includes preschool, primary school, secondary school, and adult education.

Your responsibilities include:

• Ensuring effective processes for planning, budgeting, forecasting, and closing
• Producing analyses, reports, and decision-making materials
• Monitoring financial key figures and trends
• Providing qualified support to the school principal and management on financial issues
• Contributing to long-term development work within the finance area

The assignment can be performed remotely and encompasses 3-5 days per week.

Who is suitable for the position?

We are looking for someone with experience in financial and controller work within municipal operations. You have a good understanding of municipal processes, governance models, and legislation. It is an advantage if you have previously worked in the school sector.

You are analytical, structured, and able to communicate complex financial information clearly. The role suits you if you are self-driven and enjoy close collaboration with management and operations.

Qualifications:

• Experience in municipal finance and controller work (required)
• Experience in financial management within the school sector (advantageous)
• Good system skills and ability to work data-driven
• Very good analytical and communication skills
