Municipality of Tidaholm is looking for a Community Guide with a Supervisory Role
The Municipality of Tidaholm is now seeking a Community Guide with a supervisory role for the municipality's Contact Center and Office Services. Here you will have the opportunity to combine operational service work with a clear responsibility to coordinate, develop, and strengthen the operations together with colleagues and management.
About the Contact Center and Office Services
The Contact Center belongs to the Business and Communications Department and is the municipality's common entry point for citizens, businesses, and visitors. Here, inquiries are handled via phone, email, digital channels, and personal visits to the City Hall. The operation also serves as internal support for the municipality's employees.
The Contact Center is currently staffed with three Community Guides, including one full-time position and two part-time positions.
The unit also includes Office Services, which is staffed by two part-time employees. Office Services is responsible for internal and external mail flows as well as service tasks such as copying and other office services for the municipality's operations.
About the Position
In the role of Community Guide, you will combine an operational role with supervisory responsibilities. You will work in a team as a Community Guide, and your supervisory role involves scheduling, creating structures, and developing/streamlining work processes with a focus on service and interaction.
As a Community Guide, you will work as a generalist with a common and equal competence base. Guidance and knowledge are primarily drawn from a structured knowledge database (FAQ), developed in collaboration with the municipality's administrations, as well as from the municipality's external website, tidaholm.se.
In addition to external service, the Contact Center is also responsible for several administrative and coordinating tasks within the municipality. This includes booking management of municipal meetings, handling promotional products, car and bicycle pools, key management, and booking and administration of civil ceremonies.
The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- providing service, information, and guidance to citizens, businesses, and visitors
- supervising and coordinating the daily work within the Contact Center and Office Services
- developing work methods, routines, and service processes
- collaborating with the municipality's administrations and units to ensure correct and equal service
- participating in the work with the municipality's digital channels and knowledge base
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a strong service focus who thrives in a role where collaboration, responsibility, and development are at the center. You are comfortable in meetings with people, have good communication skills, and can express yourself well in both speech and writing.
We prefer that you have:
- high school education, preferably with relevant further education
- experience in service, customer service, or contact center work
- experience in coordinating or supervising daily work
- good digital skills and ease in adapting to new systems
- an interest in development and improvement work
- good knowledge of English in both speech and writing; other languages are an advantage
Experience working in public service is an advantage. Great emphasis is placed on personal competencies such as collaboration skills, accountability, and initiative.
